Professional Experience

Hannah's practice is primarily criminal defence. She has undertaken a wide variety of hearings at the Crown and Magistrates' Court and has represented clients facing such charges as robbery, grievous bodily harm, drugs, possession of weapons, fraud, road traffic and sex offences. Hannah further has a keen interest in areas of law relating to animals, and has experience in cases under the Dangerous Dogs Act and Animal Welfare Act.

Hannah often defends vulnerable clients, and is regularly instructed to appear at the Youth Court. She also has considerable experience in defending contested anti-social behaviour order applications, and has experience in extradition and prison law.

Hannah also prosecutes on behalf of the Probation Service at the Crown and Magistrates’ Court.

Prior to joining the Bar, Hannah worked as an adviser at the Citizens' Advice Bureau. She has since had a keen involvement with the Social Mobility Foundation, through which she has provided advice for aspiring barristers and has acted as a mentor.
